February 18th, 2009How many times have you seen this title on someone’s blog? You always know that either they are just setting up their website, or just in the process of putting it back. Count me in the latter. When I upgraded to 2.7 my entire database got corrupted, and so far I have been unable to restore it. I therefore had no choice but to wipe and redo. The last straw came when I went to my site (this one) and although the headers were still there, the post bodies had disappeared. Call me giving up. I asked my host to wipe it and redo it. Then I could not recall my Wordpress password and name because I entered right past that part upon setup. I had to have host resend my initial setup message. The last problem I’ve had so far is that my mail addresses won’t work. It just never stops and I’m having so much fun that I’m not biting my fingernails.
