We might not have seen it but bar code scanners are used most importantly inside a manufacturer’s building to keep track of how many product they have produced and are ready to be sold. It is also from here that it is most crucial since products are made here. Pharmacies, stores, bookstore, attendance booth, and hospitals all use symbol bar code scanners. The bar code scanner of good quality would be the Symbol LS2208.  Symbol has been famous for creating reliable and durable bar code equipment.

Keeping Your Children Safe

April 28th, 2010

Parents all over are growing increasingly concerned about the safety of their children while left at home with a babysitter or nanny and they are quite right to be concerned.  We’ve all seen the news where children are being abused, simply because nobody is around to see what is going on.  But you can use wireless security systems to keep track of your child’s safety, as well as use it for many other reasons.  Safety from harm or theft is always a good way to go.  There are lots of wireless systems that anyone can install, no complicated setups.

Facebook Games

February 18th, 2010

Do you happen to use Facebook?  It’s been around for quite some time, but the fact is that us older folks haven’t been doing it that long.  The kids go to school and learn computers from the beginning now, but people in their 50’s have not all been too familiar with their computers and these online communities.  There are so many social networks that it’s impossible to keep track of them all.  Such as Twitter.  I’m listed on it but never saw much use for it.  Mostly I have been interested in playing the FB games such as Farm Town, Farmville and Cafe World.  I played a few others but mostly have settled down to those three, and lately I have been fooling around working on this computer, so I haven’t been on much in the past three days.  What does surprise me is that I don’t really miss it so much.

Welcoming 2010

December 31st, 2009

Hooray for another New Year coming up.  I’ve got my New Years resolutions in mind .  Do you?  Many people make these resolutions and promptly forget them (myself included), but there’s nothing wrong with trying again.  One thing I keep saying I’m going to do is keep my receipts separate and keep track of what is spent on certain people.  I always forget until a month or so and by then it is too late.  But, a few of mine are to lose weight, stop smoking, pay more attention to my family and less attention to my computer, keep better track of my finances, save money, and hey, I think that’s all of them although I no doubt will think up more.  But those are a lot and maybe I won’t be able to keep all of them.  The important thing is that I will try.
